WrappedWrapped in silks,  And smooth velvet,  Placed in a wooden chest,  Encrusted with rubies  And sapphires,  (Not emeralds, though,  I never liked emeralds.)  I placed my heart.   
I locked it.  The key was gold,  Tiny,  Decorated with one small,  Glittering diamond.  (A tell-tale  To the casual observer  Of its worth.)   
I placed the key  In a golden chain.  (Easier safekeeping, I decided.)  And then,  Without doubting my move,  I subtly gave it to you,  Along  With the locked box.

I don’t know what made me come up with this list, but as we are entering the first day of May 2008, here are some things I’d like to add to my to-do list:

- Finish all the work that instructors just remembered to assign us
in our college, instructors forget they’ll need to grade us until the very end. Then they bury us with so much work we forget what fresh air smells like.
- Catch up on friend’s birthdays
we’ve gotten in the habit of celebrating birthdays four months late. Laziness is the only explination I can come up with.
- Practice the art of staying indoors
That’s right, people. Summer officially began. Turn that AC full-blast on, and stay inside to avoid a sunstroke
- Plan summer vacation
My ideal plan? Sleep, beach, read, movies, shows, sleep. If only…
